To open an account with Kingpay, the following conditions apply:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You permanently reside in a country supported by Kingpay
• You can fully verify your identity according to anti-money laundering regulations
• You are not subject to any sanctions

With kingpay, only one personal account is allowed per user. However, you can order additional kingpay Mastercard cards linked to your main card, all connected to your kingpay card account and accessing your balance.

For setting up and using your kingpay account, we need the following information:

• Your current mobile phone number
• A valid email address
• Personal information such as name, date of birth, address and nationality(ies)
• A recognized photo ID (e.g. passport or national ID card)
• A current photo of yourself (selfie) for identity verification
• Proof of address

With the king free plan, you use kingpay free of charge. For additional features and better conditions, you can choose another plan at any time.

You can usually complete your identification directly during the onboarding process.

If you don't have your documents readily available at this time, verification is also possible later:

1. Open the kingpay app and log in
2. Tap on the card displayed on your home screen
3. Follow the instructions for identity verification

Alternatively, you can also contact our customer service – we'll be happy to send you a personal identification link.

Important: Identity verification is necessary to use your kingpay card.

For your verification to be completed successfully, your identity document must meet the following requirements:

• It is a valid and supported document type (e.g. passport, national ID card)
• The document is machine-readable – handwritten information is not accepted
• It is not expired, not damaged and clearly legible
• The personal information on the document matches the data in your kingpay account

Valid documents for proof of address are:

• Electricity, gas or water bill
• Internet or landline telephone bill
• Registration certificate from an official authority
• Bank or credit card statement
• Official municipal tax notice or government tax assessment

Important requirements:

• Issued within the last 3 months
• Issued by an official authority
• Private residential address (no business addresses, P.O. boxes or hotel addresses)
• When photographing, all four corners of the document must be visible

For your proof of address to be successfully accepted, please note the following:

• The name on the document must match the name stored in your kingpay account
• The stated address must match the residential address stored with kingpay
• All four corners of the document must be completely visible
• The document must be clearly legible and not blurred or out of focus

In certain cases, kingpay may be legally required to request additional information about your financial circumstances – such as your income or assets.

Commonly accepted proof of income sources are:

• Pay slips
• Tax assessments
• Bank statements with incoming payments
• Sales contracts (e.g. real estate)
• Inheritance or gift documentation

Why this information is important: We need this information so you can continue to use your account without restrictions. It helps us comply with legal requirements and prevent financial crime.

With king Free, you get free access to the world of kingpay – without any monthly fees. Immediately after registration, you have access to a virtual Mastercard that you can use to pay right away.

If your name has changed, we need official proof – for example:

• A valid identity document
• A marriage certificate

How to proceed: Please contact our customer service by email at support@kingcard.eu. Our team will support you with the next steps and forward your documents to the appropriate department if necessary

Your residential address has changed and you want to update it in your profile? Here's how:

1. Open the kingpay app and go to Settings > Personal Data > Personal Information
2. Tap on your saved address and then on "Send link"
3. You will receive an email with a secure upload link. Through this, you can upload a current document to prove your new address.

Once your document has been successfully submitted, we will review it. After approval, your address will be automatically updated in the system.

The address document must meet the following criteria:

• It was issued within the last 3 months
• It shows your full name and the new address
• All four corners of the document are clearly visible
• It was issued by an official authority

If you can still log in:

1. Log in with your old phone number in the app
2. Go to "Personal Data" and then to "Phone Number"
3. Enter your new number and follow the verification instructions

If you can no longer log in:

1. Open the kingpay app on your smartphone
2. Tap "Need help?" and then on "Phone number changed?"
3. Follow the instructions in the app and verify your identity
